  1. Mise-on-scene By Conor Whiting

  2. Props • Props are very important they can make a film because the props can add flavour to a film, if you get the props wrong it can look terrible and props can add more to the film by adding different effects on scenes.

  3. location • The location important because it can change the effect it has on the viewers and can increase the feeling the director is trying to make in that scene, if you have a bad location it can make it look silly or not quite right.

  4. lighting • Lighting can add more effect by the way a picture is seen like adding shadows or brighter lights to make it look more interesting and add more emotion. Could also show sadness and loneliness in a not so light room.

  5. space • Space is all about showing emotion, say with a lot of space in the room could show loneliness and sadness it could also make the shot look more crowded say if you wanted to show a public road full of people.

  6. Acting • Acting is the most important feature because if you have bad acting it can be horrible and hard for people to watch but you can have short films that don’t need good acting just need someone standing, acting can bring the viewers deeper into the film because they can feel connecting to the actors as if they knew them.

  7. Framing • Framing would all be about how you show what is going on in that frame and what is in the frame and how it adds to the film also what it could mean to the viewers, it is also important to arrange your framing to make your film look in line and correct.
