Summary of the Project STCW was introduced in 1995. This is some 15 years ago Research at TUDEV has shown that STCW has a number of deficiencies. SURPASS
Aim of the Project The main aim of this project is to fill the gap created as the result of emergence and application of the automated systems on board ships by provision of a training course enabling them to have a full understanding of automated systems, and these systems’ weaknesses and limitations SURPASS
