  2. The Lasallian Way !!! • School Motto – Fides Et Opera (Faith and Works) • Implication: to live our religious beliefs by serving the community • Reminds us of the saying of St. James: "Faith without good works is dead."

  3. THIS is where we come from! • Established in 1932 • The first campus was located in Boundary Street.

  4. In our early times… • During the WWII, the Government requisitioned the building as an internment camp and later a hospital. The school was moved to Perth Street temporarily.

  5. From the 50’s to the 70’s… • The College buildings were re-acquired by Brother Felix from the Military Authorities in 1959.

  6. What happened next??? • In mid 1970’s, the old building was demolished, and a new building was erected on La Salle Road – which is the current building • Current Development An extension with two new wings, namely Brother Aimar Wing and Brother Cassian Wing, was built.

  7. Just let you know more about us… • Size: ~1800 students in 44 classes • Over 60 clubs and societies (Sports, music, interest, academic, religious, service, cultural) • Participation in external activities • Exchange Programmes

  12. For your reference… • Established 29 years ago • Consists of 3 groups • Liturgy Group: Organising Monthly Mass and special liturgies • Service Group: Organising various services for Catholic and Non-Catholic students • Promotion Group: Promoting our functions to students

Objectives • To support the school in carrying out her mission of Christian Education. • To introduce the Christian concept of life to students. • To spread the Good News of God to Non-Catholic students. • To unify and to enrich the spiritual life of Catholic students. • To let students know more about religious matters and have a deeper impression on Catholicism.
