  4. 2) Go / No Go • Factors to consider • Do we have similar experience that we can show? • Do our people have the experience? • Where will the project take place? • Discuss with Steve and Ray

  5. 3) Opening a Marketing Number • M:\Proposals\Proposal Numbers • The number created in this Excel file matches the number assigned to it in Deltek • Deltek – Reyna will open numbers.

  6. 4) Creating a Team • Matrix Settles Team • Matrix Settles Projects • Consultants • Contact them first so they can work on their material while you work on MS material. • Email them the solicitation if they don’t have it. • For SF330 usually need the following from them. • SF330 Section E Resumes • SF330 Section F Projects • SF330 Part II • Their firm intro (short paragraph) to be included in Section H • A write-up addressing any discipline specific requirement (if applicable) • Give them a deadline of 2-3 days before official deadline, if possible. • Pay close attention to the details in the solicitation.

  8. SF330 Section A, B, C – General Info • Include each office of each team member that work will be performed at. • The Part II forms should match this list. • Highlight if the firm is (MBE, SBE, WBE, etc.) This info can be found on each firm’s Part II form in Box 5b. Small Business Status.

  9. SF330 Section D Organizational Chart • Include each person from each firm. • Usually list info in the following order • Role/Discipline • Name • Firm

SF330 Section E Resumes • Typical MS roles • Principal-in-Charge • Project Manager • Quality Assurance/Quality Control • Project Architect • Interior Designer • Staff Designer • Sub-consultant disciplines • Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing • Civil • Structural • Geotechnical • Environmental Services • Food Service • Fire Protection • Life Safety • Security • Communications • Cost Estimator • Others as required • Each person will be listed on the Section G Matrix Form • Ideal to show resumes with projects from Section F.

SF330 Section F Projects • 10 projects only unless noted otherwise in the solicitation. • Majority will be Matrix Settles. • Include Consultant projects. • These 10 projects will be listed on the Section G Matrix form • Be sure to number each project in Box 20. Example Project Key Number (usually in the upper right corner) • Be sure to include any firms from Section C that worked on the project. Include them in Box 25.

SF330 Section G Team/Project Matrix • List each person on the team – Prime and Consultants • List Projects from Section F in order • Shows if the Prime has worked with the consultants in the past • Shows what each person has worked on • Check if any sub-consultants have worked on the example projects.

  13. SF330 Section H Additional Info / Section I • Address each Selection Criteria here • Steve or Ray will need to write and/or review • Section I is the very last box at the end of Section H. It’s just the signature of an authorized representative (usually Steve or Ray, depending on who is leading the proposal).

  14. SF330 Part II – General Qualifications • Include a Part II form for each office of each team member that work will be performed out of. • Make sure to enter the correct Solicitation number in Box 1 (this box is usually located in the upper right hand corner). • If no solicitation number exists, just leave it blank.

  15. Cover Letter, Covers, Tabs • Cover Letter from Steve or Ray • Standard preprinted covers - template • Change images depending on what type of project we are pursuing. • Title on cover. Include: • Client Name • Title of Project • Solicitation Number • Due Date • Tabs are preprinted. Just need to print labels in the following order. • SF330 Sections A – D • SF330 Section E • SF330 Section F • SF330 Section G • SF330 Section H • SF330 Part II • Double-check the solicitation for specific mailing label requirements.

  16. 6) Addenda • Very few will email you addenda • Check website daily – Morning and COB
