Interesting Facts • The sport with the most concussion is one many people do not think of, cheerleading • Our brains are like wirers shutting electrical waves through water to one another and not as safe as you would think. It is just amazing how our brains work and how vulnerable they are. Even a small fall could cause your brain harm and if not looked into it could kill you. • Some of the symptoms you might have when you get a concussion are Headaches, dizziness, nausea, sensory impairment, or irritability. There might also be a delay in response to questions, poor concentration, unstable emotions, diminished motor skills, or character changes. • Some long term problems include permanent brain damage, memory problems, mood swings, and temper tantrums. Some of these effects are caused by damage to the frontal lobe; the frontal lobe is the part of your brain that tells you right from wrong, good choice from bad choice, so it is very important and if it is severely damaged you could begin acting latterly like a three year old.

  4. Poetry class • Mrs. Braker taught us that we all perceive poetry and life differently and that neither is right • Also she taught us how to communicate better and not argue about our opinions or perception • Also how to think out side the box

I have learned how to read and understand a poem And how to write a poem Everyone hides their broken bonesThose who don’t knowJUDGE.They think that I’m WEAK.They think I’m happy & smiling.They are wrong.They don’t know. But I know.That I MUST keep it upAnd NEVER fallor brakeCauseI’m a BROKEN bone. Taped together.WEAK. Supporting others.Holding them strong.Strong outside.Weak in. LOST.In a worldFull of strangers.

  6. Elon 101 • Look up schools (not with Google) • Realize how much I am looking for that in a college • Elon 101 also taught me leadership qualities like ROTC • It has also taught me how to write a better paper
