Strategies • Contributing to Position on the policy agenda the impact of health and nutrition interventions at the school level on education outcomes and human development. • Promoting schools as means for delivering effective health and nutrition interventions to school age children and their communities. • Promoting the existence of a coordinating mechanism for SHN programmes.

Main 2006 achievements • After 2 years of being inactive now we have 40 members • Directory of Support to SHN programmes • FFE Evidence Seminar • Revitalized the mailing list (450) • FFE Electronic snacks • News – newsletters etc • All contributions are most welcomed! • Expansion of SHN website

  4. Ongoing and future developments • Update SHN booklet • Development of SHN M&E international guidelines and training. • Policy paper on FFE and Guidance on the nutritional objectives of the FFE programmes • Using the SHN website as a platform for advocacy, knowledge dissemination and sharing
