DPI Mailing • Effective Date of Free or Reduced Price Meal Eligibility Determinations • Clarifies the flexibility available to LEA officials for establishing the effective date of eligibility for children certified for free or reduced price meals.
Non-Program Foods Revenue Clarification • The nonprofit school food service account may be used to purchased goods for another program. • The cost of these goods, plus any labor associated with purchasing or preparing these goods needs to be reimbursed to the nonprofit school food service account. • After reimbursing the nonprofit school food service account, all revenue may be kept by the program doing the sale
