  4. Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) • “carefully designed and focused course of action that addresses a well-defined issue or issues directly related to improving student learning.” • must involve significant participation by the institution’s academic community

  7. Key Compliance Issues • Are unit goals linked to University mission/goals? • Are expected outcomes defined in measurable terms? • Are assessment procedures for each outcome clear? • What is evidence of broad-based participation in assessment?

  8. Key Compliance Issues • Are institutional evaluation and planning activities resulting in improvement of programs, including academic, administrative, and support services? • Can FIU provide documentation of these processes?

  9. Core Competency Criteria • 3.5.1 The institution identifies college-level competencies within the general education core and provides evidence that graduates have attained those competencies.
