Topics for Ad-Hoc Mgt SG • Review WG44/SC217 draft Charter; 78/214 membership • Co-Chairman 78/214 – Matt Johnson • Five 78/214 members • Revised Charter for approval • Request (ISR) from SC186/WG51 for CPDLC in support of Interval Mgt – Assess impact on planning • Impact on 78/214 material is limited to: • Development of extra Messages for inclusion in SPR and INT material • Verification whether existing CPDLC OSA meets SRs for new messages • Expectation is that all OSD material is contained in IM SPR of WG51/SC186 • Results from initial analysis • Around 6 new CPDLC messages identified to support IM • Position paper required for P11 with new message definitions and OSA/OPA analysis results • Patent Issue between FANS ground and 78/214 ground for double stack A/C • Boeing Intention to Release Patent • ISR for SC206 (RTCA only) • Organization of SGs work until September • SG meeting in US – last week of June • Oceanic integration meeting in last week of August
