INTAS Call 2004 with Kazakhstan Research projects only Scope: innovative experimental &/or theoretical research in management of man-made pollution (all scientific fields) with the objective to promote reduction & prevention of such pollution, to improve ecological conditions & public health Eligibility criteria 2 NIS countries + 2 INTAS members Min. 1 team from Kazakhstan • Funding • € 150,000 for grant duration • max. 25% total grant to teams from INTAS members • Min. 75% total grant to NIS teams. And KZ team(s) gets min. 50% & max. 80% of this budget Duration 24, 30 or 36 months Example: 75% of €150,000=€112,500 for NIS teams max. €90,000 for KZ teams

I.e. improve agricultural practices, fighting local diseases. Stimulate regional cooperation through analogous problems in neighboring countries • Funding • € 150,000 for grant duration • max. 25% total grant to teams from INTAS members • Min. 75% total grant to NIS teams.
