  4. Crunchy, Bottom of the Oreo • The final part of the paragraph is the crunchy, ending. It is important to not leave the reader hanging. Close your ideas by ending with a solid sentence that restates your main idea.

  5. Now Try to Write One of Your Own! Write a paragraph about the Louisiana Purchase. The reader will want to know who was involved, when it happened, what it was, where it took place, how it came to be, and why it is important. Make an idea list and start writing your own tasty Oreo paragraph.
