  6. For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape. 1 Thess. 5:3

  11. “....when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with His powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus” 2 Thess. 1:7-8

  12. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth— those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. Jn. 5:28-29

  13. we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Cor. 15:51-52

There was a great earthquake; the sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig trees when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Rev. 6:12-14

  15. Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the commanders, the rich, the mighty, every slave and every free man hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the Great Day of His wrath has come, and who can stand?" Rev. 6:15-17

  16. “The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2 Pet. 3:10

  18. “When the Son of Man shall come in His glory, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory: And before Him shall be gathered all nations: and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats: And He shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say to them on His right hand, Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world” Matt. 25:31-34

  19. “Then shall He say also to them on the left hand, Depart from Me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” Matt. 25:46

  20. “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men” 2 Cor. 5:11

  21. We Know: • 1. Christ is coming – Matt. 25:31 • 2. Christ could come before this day is done – Matt. 24:36 • 3. When Christ comes, everyone will know it – Rom. 14:11 • 4. When Christ comes, everyone will also know where they stand – Matt. 25:31-46
