  2. LAN Peru aviation mechanics: contract campaign The Cueto family from Chile controls LATAM, the largest airline in Latin America. It is a merger of LAN Airlines from Chile and TAM Airlines from Brazil. LAN Peru mechanics were paid ½ of the wages for doing the same work as in Chile and Argentina. They had not received a salary increase for over 10 years. ITF network of LATAM unions covers 7 countries, plus Spain and Australia. ITF: DEVELOPING STRATEGIC CAMPAIGNS
