  1. Peace in my eye I was in the United Nations Peace Poster contest last year. The topic was “Imagine Peace”, so I thought about what I think peace is. When I thought about it, I decided to put peace in my eye. from that I stared getting ideas . So at first I was confused on what it should look like. I looked at the past peace posters and I saw flags, rainbows, earth, doves, peace signs ,and bright colors. I decided to put all of that in mine, but I was doing an eye, how am I going to put all that in there? After thinking about it, I thought I could somehow put those things in my picture with it still being a eye. I had the iris of my eye be the earth, the eye brows the flags, the eye lashes are rainbows, the pupil was a peace sign, and a dove hugging the earth. Just to make mine stand out different from past poster I used chalk for skin which tied the whole picture together. This is a surrealistic picture because it is drawn realistically but has impossible things in it. For the school I received second place for this picture, and I am proud of it. So, this is how peace in my eye was made.

  2. If past peace poster competitors see mine, I think they will first knottiest the dove, because that is my focal point. I think they may concenter the use of chalk in there next peace.
