Current Standards • Counter Code of Practice • International set of standards for vendor recording of online usage data • Standards available for electronic journals and databases, e-book standards in development • ARL Supplementary Statistics (05-06) limits reporting to Counter-compliant figures • SUSHI • NISO Standardized Usage Statistics Harvesting Initiative • Designed to work in conjunction with Electronic Resource Management software (ERM)

  3. ScholarlyStats • MPS Technologies software, now marketed and sold by EBSCO • Trial conducted at Syracuse in August, 2006 • Generates reports for usage of databases and electronic journals for many Counter-compliant vendor platforms • http://www.scholarlystats.com

  4. Statistics collected from multiple vendors • Delivered to single portal • May then be passed to ERM or compiled for other purposes
