Muon activities recap • Barrel MDT VME crates were turned off • Protection forms were installed on barrel MDT chambers(sector 7A) • The electrical reshuffling for the CSC rack Y28.16A1 and rack Y26.16A1 in USA15 • DCS security patch on April 29th • Continue RPC cabling work on sector 12&14 • sRPC chamber extraction?
EE status • Chamber installation done • Readout service connection done • 2 Fiber problems remain • Alignment done • All EEL and EES sectors chamber and alignment bars positioned • Gas pipe connection • 2 sectors EES1A02 and EES1A08 remain • Commissioning on going • Organized 3 training sessions for 12 new comers • Started the shift at April 16th (2 persons per day) • Opened booking for May 6th to May 20th yesterday • More details in Liang’s presentation • Many thanks for the DCS on call experts for providing supports
Interventions • Interventions • P1 electrical installations and interventions on safety systems from April 30th to May 5th • P1 in shutdown mode and no cavern work allowed • Muon detectors had been fully turned off yesterday • MDT and CSC gas will run normally, RPC gas had been stopped yesterday. • CERN wide power limitation on June and July 2013 • (UPDATE) Run part of detectors is possible upon the request, please let me know as soon as possible if you need the power consumption during June and July • Crane maintenance and cooling intervention on September and October 2013 • Stop surface cranes (SDX1 and SX1) from September 3rd to September 12th • Stop UX15 cranes from September 23thto September 27th • Muons C pump redundancy from October 7th to October 9th • MuonsA pump redundancy from October 14thto October 16th
