  1. The Boy In The Striped Pajamas By: John Boyne

  2. When Bruno moves from Berlin to Poland, he doesn’t agree with the idea of leaving everything behind. His grandparents who lived in Berlin were going to be left behind

  3. His enormous house, which he wasn’t going to be able to explore anymore.

  4. Just leave everything to go to a remote, tiny house with no one to play with.

  5. Most of all his three best friends for life Daniel, Martin, and Carl.

  6. But he was wrong! Miles away, there was the Auschwitz concentration camp.

  7. Where he met a friend, Shmuel, he enjoyed talking to, even though the fence separated them, and didn’t allow them to play together.

  8. What they don’t know is that they are meant to be enemies, Shmuel being Jewish, and Bruno being the son of the Nazi commandant.

  9. But of course that wouldn’t prevent them from being friends.

  10. Or will it! Will they stay friends, or will their fate break them apart.
