  1. Greetings! • Please sit in a group of four. • We will be sharing our strategy, so if you planned with someone, please sit apart from that person. • Enjoy some questions with your group as you wait.

  2. Reciprocal PresentingTLW: Evaluate generalization strategies to apply to teaching.I will: Orally share my strategy in a small group.I will: Ask questions and discuss strategies with my group .I will: Record information about strategies

  3. Process 1. Presenter presents and leads discussion 2. Discuss any questions or clarifications about the strategy moving clockwise from the presenter. Play the card that corresponds to your comment or question. A=Add to the presentation from your own experience Q= Question- ask a question…maybe about delivery, organization, etc. K=Klarify- ask for clarification to deepen understanding or to clear up a muddy point 5. Presenter wraps up discussion and ties up any loose ends- Celebrate!

  4. Information: • You will have each of the roles at one point during the activity. • This strategy is based on the reciprocal teaching strategy-A cooperative strategy used to engage students in text.

  5. Process 1. Assign each person to a role. You will only perform each role once. 2. After you have completed a round, Celebrate! 3. Assign each person a new role and repeat 1&2 until all have presented.
