  2. Status Update • Convert from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 • Target June 30,2012 • Users should see no obvious changes • Unless we change the theme to being mobile compatible • Concurrent work on Constituent Management System (CRM) • Need Volunteer Committee help • Target this year

  3. Volunteer Committee & CRM • Others deal with contact info, membership, donations, trails, advocacy, etc. • Volunteer Committee needs info to: • Recruit • Retain • Reward

  4. Recruit • Gather and record info about interests, skills and regions • Manage mailing lists • Advertise (everywhere, multi-media) • “Sales” events, e.g. tabling, orientation meetings

  5. Retain • Track the process from initial contact to long time volunteer • Make reporting easy • Use reports to analyze what works and what doesn’t

  6. Reward • Track hours worked • Track completed projects • Automate recognition
