  2. first light / first flight first flight in spring 2014 from Timmins (48°34' N, 81°22' W) CNES campaign starts March 1st 2014 => EUSO BALLOON is to be flight-ready in Timmins by end of february flight scenarios have been elaborated by Jean Evrard for the december flight review => we can make it, but must stay on tight schedule

Since the last progress meetingAPC Paris, October the 12th • The electrical prototype has been received by LAL (beforepotting) • EC ASIC cardhas been sucessfullytested (before data transmission tests) • Wefixed the design of PWP • The delivery of 19 missingMAPMTs+ UV filterson going (december 2012) • Cockroft Walton and switches prototypes have been testedat APC (and a bit modified to beadapted to MAPMTs) • PDM boarddelay : 6 PCBsproduced and partiallytested, deliveryat LAL isscheduled for end of November, we are tryingnow to organize EC-ASIC/PDM Board communication tests • DP tests are undergoingin Naples • Thermal analysis has been done • Thedocumentation iswell-advanced (architecture documents, Technicalspecification for CPU software , PAIE, updates of Phase A documents, ICD, etc.) EUSO-BALLOON, 9th progress Meeting 2012
