A Definition of KM* • Knowledge management in organizations refers to: • organizational processes and structures • that leverage the synergy between • information technology and • people • in the creation, transfer and use/reuse of knowledge • to improve individual as well as organizational productivity. *This is essentially the definition in our course syllabus.
