Grant Presidency • Scandals • Grant hires his family and friends to important positions • Gold buying scheme (Grant’s cousin) • Black Friday or the Fisk/Gould Scandal • Whiskey Ring Scandal (Grant’s secretary) • How does this make people feel about Grant? His political party? Lack of faith in Republican Party
