  1. We will be enjoying the adventures of Photo Fanny this month. Record activities in your child’s journal and encourage her to share at school. 3 Ask your child to follow a 3 step direction. Change the directions to include more movements. 4 Separate the first sound from a word (m ama). Ask your child to guess the mystery word. Repeat with more words. 6 Ask your child to move like these animals - rabbit, horse, turtle, cat, kangaroo 7 Provide craft materials for your child to create something using their imagination. 5 Discuss with your child what to pack in a suitcase when you take a trip. 13 Float a large and a small plastic container in the sink. Ask your child to fill them with pennies, beans, etc. to see which one sinks first. How many objects did it take to sink the container? 14Make a list of how family members travel with your child. Ask him to draw pictures of each method of transportation. 10 Count the number of wheels on your vehicle with your child. Count the wheels on other types of vehicles. 12 Ask your child to circle and name the letters he knows in a newspaper or magazine ad. How does he know? 11 Discuss transportation that travels on the ground and those that travel in the air. Spring Break 24Play a Letter Hunt game with your child. Call out a letter and ask him to find it in a newspaper, magazine, book or on a sign. 28 Ask your child to draw a favorite school activity to share with her teacher and class. 27Look at the moon and stars with Photo Fanny. Ask your child to record in his journal and share at school what you saw. 26Discuss the wind with your child. Hold a tissue on a corner and determine is the wind is blowing? Which direction?. 25Count to 30 with your child. Ask him to count 10 objects. How high can he count?

Escribe las actividades en el Diario de Fanny de tu niño e invítalo a que las comparta en la escuela. 3Desafïa a tuniño a seguirinstrucciones de 3 pasos. Cambia lasdireccionesparaincluirmásmovimientos. 4Elije una palabra y dísela a tu niño separando el sonido de la primera letra y luego el resto de la palabra (p-ato). Pregúntale cual es la palabra. Invita a tu niño a poner piedritas o frijoles y observen cual se hunde primero. ¿Cuántos objetos fueron necesarios para hundir el recipiente? 10Cuenten con tu niño la cantidad de ruedas que tiene el auto de la familia. Cuenten las ruedas de otros vehículos también. 11Conversa con tu niño acerca de medios de transporte que viajan en la tierra y otros que viajan en el aire. 12Invita a tu niño a marcar con un círculo las letras que sepa y que encuentre en periódicos o revistas. Pregúntale cómo las aprendió. 14Hagan con tu niño una lista de los diferentes medios de transporte que usa tu niño cuando viaja con otras personas en la familia. Invítalo a hacer un dibujo de esos medios de transporte. Vacaciones de primavera 24Juega con tu niño a la cacería de letras: dí en voz alta una letra y tu niño debe buscarla en el periódico, revista o cartel. 25Cuenta con tu niño hasta 30. Luego pídele que cuente 10 objetos. ¿Hasta que número puede contar? 26Conversen con tu niño acerca del viento. Tomen un pañuelo de papel y pónganlo en un sitio para ver si hay viento y en que dirección corre. 27Observen con tu niño la luna y las estrellas. Invítalo a escribir en su Diario de Fanny lo que han observado y que lo comparta en la escuela. 28Invita a tu niño a hacer un dibujo de lo que más le gusta hacer en la escuela para que lo comparta con la maestra.
