  4. Our Mission To provide positive, high quality, developmental experiences at all levels of play for our youth players, families, coaches, staff and referees on and off the field. And to make positive impacts to the communities in which we live and play.  Assertiveness • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect

Why US Soccer selected Salvo? • Leadership of the club and quality of the coaching staff • Desire to embrace and promote the core values of the program • U.S. Soccer license levels of coaching staff • Infrastructure of the club and the resources currently being invested in development (facilities, scholarships, staff to player ratio, etc.) • History of player production for youth National Teams, the Women's National Team, and professional leagues • Market with player depth, geographic location, proximity to other elite clubs and travel implications Ownership • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect

Standards – Players • Individual Soccer Plans – monthly • Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE) – Daily • Commitment • International rules and standards • Youth National Team Scouts at all events and many games • Games and showcases • Video for development Ownership • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect

Standards – Coaching • Must have at least a US Soccer C License • Every coach involved must have a US Soccer License • By 2020-2021 must have a US Soccer Federation B License • 6 month process – 3 meetings with 2 development periods • Required conduct • Behavior and conduct • Will address, will suspend, will expel • Required number of starts for each player Ownership • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect

Standards – Coaching • Video for review and player development • Video for planning purposes • Required to have training session plans for every session • Logged and submitted upon request • Required to attend bi-annual (2x) coach education workshop with US Soccer Ownership • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect

Standards – Club • Director must have an A License • Player Centered • Scheduled periods of time off • Annual game schedule for planning purposes • Training to game ratio standards • Focus on individual player development within a team concept • Each team is on a Macrocycle, Mesocycle, and Microcycle Ownership • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect

Updates - Substitutions How many substitutions can you make? • 14 unlimited • 15-17 we can make 7 substitutions • 18/19 we can make 7 substitutions • We have 3 moments and half time to make our substitutions Why the differences for when you can sub and the limitations on how many? • The focus is on providing players meaningful playing minutes • It is also in-line with international rules • The focus of the GDA is to Develop World Class Players Ownership • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect

Updates – Playing time Future initiative of US Soccer is for players to play at least 50% of every game – we will try to achieve this Over the course of a weekend we will do our best to play players at least 50% of the available minutes over the course of a weekend • Some players will play more minutes • Physical periodization is critical to play optimal levels over the course of a high intensity season • We will plan monthly and RPE will be a massive tool for us • Recommended course of action by US Soccer Ownership • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect

Updates – Affiliate Clubs We are working on having Affiliate clubs as a way to extend our pool of players and coaches • Increase the competition for places which should be viewed as a good thing • Affiliate players will not replace our players during the course of the season but will provide depth • Affiliate players will contribute to the fee structure • Recommended course of action by US Soccer Ownership • Teamwork • Leadership • Respect
