MTARS In FY 2008, MTARS will be conducted in the following States: • Rhode Island (Region 1) [held over from 2007] • Arizona (Region 9) [held over from 2007] • Indiana (Region 5) • North Dakota (Region 8) The following States will be reviewed in FY 2009: • South Carolina (Region 4) [held over from 2008] • Nevada (Region 9) [held over from 2008] • Puerto Rico (Region 2) • Kentucky (Region 4)

Grant-related business • Reduced match policy • Anticipated schedule for continuation applications • 17 UCEDDs submitting 5-year applications in FY 2008 • Program announcement • Publication date: target was October 24, 2007 • Application due date: 60 days from publication • Need for panel reviewers from non-competing UCEDDs – Directors, Faculty, Staff, CAC members • Researching issue of 8% indirect cost rate limit on DDC grants and contracts

  9. Analysis of GPRA Measure Overall Response rate = 17% Regression estimate: 1,830,124 individuals with DD served by former trainees Calculation: 1,830,124/4.5 millions individuals with DD = 40%

  10. ADD Independent Evaluation • Use of feedback on documents • Starting pilot study • 9 Programs (DDCs, P&As, UCEDDs) total • 3 States per program • States will be notified by the Commissioner • Purpose • Process • ADD website
