  2. Bart as a young’un! • Bartolomeu Diaz was born in Portugal but, no one knows what happpened to him before 1840! • He had a brother called Diogo Diaz, who was an explorer too. All in all he never had much history. • Then he died when • his ship crashed!! • Nobody knows • when!!!!!!!

  3. Bart off in to the world ! • Bartolomeu Diaz was ordered by King John II to open trade routes. He sailed around The Cape of Good Hope and the coast of Africa in 1488. He also sailed near Brazil with Pedro Alvaros Cabral.

  4. Timeline!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was born on some date!! (no body knows when!! Took a sail with Diego D’ambuja near Africa. King John II ordered Bart to explore. Bart departs for Africa Blown off course!!! He has an idea to find land! They are shipwrecked!! They found land!

  5. Off he goes !!!!!! • Bart sailed around the coast of Africa and all the way down to The Cape Of Good Hope in 1488. He found more trade routes to Asia.

  6. Other stuff about bart !!!!!! • His impact was opening a whole new world to Europe and Africa.
