San Jose Local Cusines • Black Beans and Rica (Galo Pinta):Black Beans and Rice are a dish of dry black beans with brown rice dribbled over it.Many People make it different ways and put it with most meals. • Sea Bass:Sea Bass is San Jose's favorite fish to eat. They eat it mostly in Sea Bass cerviche. • Tortillas: They are used as a snack,sometime sides with meals. They are often used with dip.

San Jose Communication The majority of people in San Jose speak spanish.  English Translation:                               Spanish Translation: Hello, how are you today?              Hola Como Estas hoy? Do you know where this is?              Sabes de donde es esto? Where's the bathroom?                    Donde esta el cuarti bano?

  5. Costa Rican Currency and Climate Costa Ricans have Colons for dollars. 1 Costa Rican dollar =0.0020 dollars.  Costa Rican Climate is almost always tropical. Sometimes it is breezy but it is never cold.

  7. Points of interest San Jose has many interesting spots so here are a few of them. • The National Theater-This attraction has 1,040 seats and can be turned into a ballroom! They have lot's of shows each year.  • Carara Biological Reserve- The Carara Biological Reserve is famous for all of it's animals and plants. It is also known for bird watching. • Chirripo National Park-This National Park has some of the best veiws in Costa Rica. You can see the ocean and all of the pretty trees and animals around from one peak called Cerro Chirripo. That peak is the highest in Costa Rica. • Las Cusingos Neotropical Bird Sanctuary- This Bird sanctuary has many beautiful birds. It is amazing to see them.
