The early years • Morse was born in Charlestown, Massachusetts, on April 27, 1791. he was the eldest out of his parents children . • When Morse was thirteen he keep at journal of his daily childhood life.

Education • Homed school until the age of ten. • He went to Yale College to receive instruction in the subjects of religious philosophy, mathematics and science of horses.
telegraph • Morse invented the telegraph so people can talk from along distance. He did this because he heard of his wife illness and by the time he arrived home she was already buried 6 feet under. • He went on a sea voyage to learn electromagnetism. So that he can improver on his invention.
Morse's first telegraph device, unveiled in 1837, he use a one-wire system, which produced an EKG-like line on tickertape.
Marriages • Morse married Lucretia Pickering Walker on September 29, 1819. in February 7, 1879 she died from giving child birth. • Later Morse married his second wife Sarah Elizabeth Griswold. Morse had 4 children by her.
Death • Morse died April 2, 1872, a few days before his 81st birthday. It is said he died of pneumonia, which is an inflammatory condition of the lung.
