  1. ePath Learning’s Design and Development Process

  2. Development Process: ADDIE Model The approach is divided into functional stages with continuous evaluation and review from both ePath Learning and you. “Understanding Content” “Mapping Out the Solution” “Producing the Solution” “Delivering and Implementing the Solution” Client Review Client Review Client Review Client Review “Ensuring Quality During Development and After Delivery”

  3. Analysis ADDIE Model: Analysis Design • Identify & Organize Content • Create Design Plan: • Learning objectives • Target audience • Course structure – high-level outline • Course length • Instructional strategies • Assessment strategies • Design guidelines and standards • Interaction & presentation types • Technical requirements Development Implementation Evaluation

  4. Analysis ADDIE Model: Design Design • Create Live Specification: • Simple on-line representation of the design • Approximately 6– 8 screens • Illustrate interface design and design concepts to teach the course • Examples of interactions • Sample Graphics Development Implementation Evaluation

  5. Analysis ADDIE Model: Design Design • Storyboards: • Develop using MSWord template • Provide a description of the content at the screen level • Each screen will include: • Text that will appear on the screen • Descriptions of visuals • Descriptions of interactions and feedback • Storyboard Review: • Focus on inaccuracies or verbiage that is not appropriate • Suggested treatments for graphics and interactions appropriate for your audience • Provide consolidated set of comments • Review narrative script Development Implementation Evaluation

  6. Analysis ADDIE Model: Development Design • Production: • Produce and integrate graphics, video, audio, and interactions described on the storyboards • QC and edit courseware • Develop narration script Development Implementation Evaluation

  7. Analysis ADDIE Model: Development Design • Deliverables: • Alpha courseware • Beta courseware • Alpha Review: • Note differences with screen content from the content in the approved storyboards • Verify functionality of the course • Verify changes to narration • Beta Review: • Validate Alpha comments are corrected • Verify audio is correct; matches approved narration script Development Implementation Evaluation

  8. Analysis ADDIE Model: Implementation Design • Client Services group will work with you to: • Deploy and configure ASAP & Campus to manage the delivery of the courses • Set standards in the LMS for additional courses Development Implementation Evaluation

  9. Analysis ADDIE Model: Evaluation Design The Evaluation Phase of the ADDIE process involves evaluating the effectiveness of training during training development and after training deployment, and modifying course materials to better meet the needs of the learners as a result. Evaluation during development is achieved through the review and revisions steps built into the ADDIE process itself. Development Implementation Evaluation
