  4. Creativity (i) • The capacity to generate and extend new ideas. • Apply imagination and look for alternative, innovative outcomes in any activity.

  5. Creativity (ii) • Students need creative teachers. • Promoting creativity is a powerful way of engaging students in learning.

  6. Creativity in the Classroom • Games that have students generate ideas and expand on them promote creativity. • Ask unusual and challenging questions, and represent new ideas in different ways to challenge the way students view today’s world.

  7. Out of the Box (i) • It is important that students are able to approach new ideas from their own unique perspective. • By doing this they have begun the process of innovation.

  8. Out of the Box (ii) • Teachers should vary their approach to teaching. • Be it physically, verbally or visually. • An out of the box teacher makes an out of the box student.

  9. Inspiration (i) • An inspired students needs an inspiring classroom. • The teacher should promote the following qualities in students:Dignity, Energy, Self-Management, Community, Awareness.

  10. Inspiration (ii) • Dignity: Praise students for good work and announce high expectations without raising unproductive anxieties. • Energy: Be energetic when teaching and engage students in activities of various energy levels

Inspiration (iii) • Self-Management: Allow students to select homework from a list of options; let students choose their own partners • Community: Allow students to help one another and teach each other new ideas. • Awareness: Do not bore students and let them think for themselves on complex ideas

  12. The Entrepreneur • The sum of all of these qualities result in a high level of entrepreneurial and innovational thinkers. • Students with taught with these approaches go on to produce new ideas that change the world.

  13. Innovation and Creativity, this is the driving force behind the progression of society globally.
