Practice With New Information • Template – Back of P10 • Chapter 2, Section 1 (p.28) • Read through the headings to start your outline from the most general information and move to more specific information. • You should fill out the first two levels today. • If you finish early,check in with me and ask to try the challenge.
Challenge Create an outline from scratch (no template) called “The World.” Include: • the continents • three countries from each • five U.S. States.
Closure • Even though you haven’t read chapter 2, what can you tell me about “Our English Heritage” based on the outline? • What are the important concepts that we (Americans) incorporated from England? • Now that you have tried using an outline, what are some specific times when you think you might use one?
