This Year in Science 7th Grade Quarter 1 Rocks and Minerals – Mineral Project and rock project Quarter 2 Plate Tectonics, Volcanoes & Earthquakes – geologic project Quarter 3 Astronomy – Seasons, Moon Phases, Solar System, Galaxies - moon phase project Quarter 4 Ecology – Ecosystems, Predator/Prey - Zoo Project * There will be homework – Check agenda or website

  8. Website Website has everything for the daily lesson, PowerPoints, supporting documents. If absent this is the place to go, review for tests, or just general knowledge of daily activity

Assignment Policies • Grading • 20% Classwork/Homework (Practice) • 40% Labs and Projects (Assessments) • 40% Tests and Quizzes (Assessments) • Late work- unless absent or pre-arranged • 10% off per day late • Will not accept after 2 weeks • Absent – 1 day for every day absent to make up work • Not penalized unless it becomes late
