FLAG OF GHANA AND MAP GHANA TO LOCATE KUMASI. SOME STUDENTS IN THEIR BLUE SCHOOL UNIFORM, TAKING NOTES.
THAT IS ME AND MY NEW STUDENTS IN MY NEW SCHOOL. WE HAVE A SCHOOL POPULATION OF 1800 STUDENTS, BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS, WITH 33 ACADEMIC CLASSES. AVERAGE NUMBER OF STUDENTS IN EACH CLASS IS 45. WE STUDY SCIENCE, VISUAL ARTS, BUSSINESS AGRICULTURE, GENERAL ARTS , HOME ECONOMICS. STUDENTS STUDY MATHEMATICS, ENGLISH AND INTEGRATED SCIENCE AS CORE SUBJECTS.
STUDENTS IN THEIR WEDNESDAY AFRICAN WEAR. STUDENTS WERE THIS UNIFORM ONLY ON THIS DAY. IN THIS SCHOOL, STUDENT ARE GIVEN BREAK FAST,LUNCH AND SUPPER. WE SERVE MEALS SUCH AS: CORN PORRIAGE WITH BREAD, RICE WITH TOMATO STEW, BOILED YAMS WITH GREEN VEGETABLE STEW LIKE COCOYAM LEAVES AND MANY MORE
MY SCHOOL CAN BOAST OF ITS GREEN SERENE ENVIROMENT. MOST PLANTS AND FLOWERS ARE GROWN ON THE SCHOOL CAMPUS. PLANTS SUCH AS HIBISCUS, FLAMBOYANT, ALLAMANDA, MANGO, PRIDE OF BABARDOS FLOWER AND MANY MORE. ON WEEKENDS, SUCH AS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY STUDENTS WASH THEIR CLOTHES AND GO TO SCHOOL CHURCH SERVICE TO WORSHIP GOD.
STUDENTS IN A CHEMISTRY LAB. MOST STUDENTS ARE BORDERS LIVING IN THE HALLS OF RESIDENTS, FEW ARE DAY STUDENTS WHO GO HOME AFTER SCHOOL. BORDERS ARE ALLOWED TO GO HOME BY EXEATS CARD SIGN BY A HALL MASTER. THE LIFE OF THE STUDENTS BEGINS AS EARLY AS 5:30AM WHERE THEY CLEAN THE SCHOOL CAMPUS. CLASSES START AT 7:30 AM, BREAKFAST AT 9:30 AM SCHOOL HOURS ENDS AT 3.00PM. LUNCH AT 3.10PM. SIESTA 4:00PM, SUPPER AT 5:30PM EACH DAY FROM MONDAY TO FRIDAY.
