Red bell peppers are good for eye health

Red bell peppers are good for eye health because of the amount of vitamin C they contain. It turns out, they are an even greater source of vitamin C than some citrus fruits! However, it is best to eat red bell peppers raw because of how heat can degrade vitamin C. Additionally, vitamin C is important for eye health since it helps with maintaining the eye’s blood vessels, reducing the risk of developing cataracts.
