Web-Based Pre-Approval Process • Replaced paper transactions • Provides verification of course transferability • Available to matriculated USC undergraduate students • Students identify course work they wish to transfer and receive automated response in the form of an updated transfer credit report • Transfer credit report has a pop-up section which reports the results of the pre-approval request

Electronic Transcript efforts at USC • EDI effort began in late 2009 • USC began receiving and processing EDI data in March 2010 • EtranscriptCA and Texas server • All inbound EDI processing is automated • USC began issuing outbound EDI data in March 2012. • PDF transcripts at USC and elsewhere
