An evening of elegance and style is set to ignite on Philippine TV as Rajo Laurel celebrates his 15th year anniversary.
On November 15 and 16, 2008, Rajo Laurel’s journey, triumphs and travails shall be unveiled as “ Rajo Red: The Business of Elegance” --- a two- part QTV special documentary is presented.
Rajo Laurel, one of the country’s most celebrated and ingenious fashion designer marks his fifteenth year in the fashion business. The documentary opens with his “Rajo Red Gala”, his latest and most prestigious collection ever which was staged last September.
The gala showcased an evolution of his masterpieces for over fifteen years
The gala was not your usual fashion show however, it was a show for a cause. “ Rajo Red “ comes from Rajo Laurel’s name and Red Cross. Philippine Red Cross has played a significant part in Rajo’s life and on his fifteenth anniversary, he chose a celebration that is beyond him -- a gala that will benefit and contribute to their worthy and selfless endeavor.
The documentary also chronicles the beginnings and the life of the young and budding fashion designer that is Rajo Laurel. It tells the story of his long and arduous journey to success as well as his inspirations and dreams.
“Rajo Red” shall also unveil the stories of Rajo Laurel’s favorite muses from his good friend Tessa Prieto Valdez to some of the country’s biggest celebrities.
The documentary gathered Philippine top divas Kuh Ledesma, Zsa zsa Padilla and Pops Fernandez as they talk about why they keep on going back to Rajo. Pop star Princess Sarah Geronimo engages in a rare TV appearance in QTV as she relates how Rajo has become her lucky charm since the beginning of her career.
