An ePortfolio is a digital collection of information, evidence and examples of your interests, skills and achievements and your reflections on these over time, from which you can publish presentations for different audiences. Ways an ePortfolio supports Recognition • Supporting communication: Conversations with your assessor • Presentation and validation of evidence: It’s a great way to gather and organise your evidence for your experience working with children. Your TAFE teacher will be able to look at your ePortfolio too. • Assessor tools : ePortfolio platforms store your experiences through:- • audio ( eg talking about daily tasks, your planning processes ) • video images(eg how you arranged the outdoor area, created a science experience) • Managing the RPL process: Regular communication and feedback via your ePortfolio with your TAFE assessor = ongoing support helping you to stay on track . How do ePortfolios help my Recognition process? • Your ePortfolio is linked to units /subjects and the Certificate III/ Diploma • Your evidence can be viewed by the assessor and confirmed as your own work and suitable • You can use a variety of evidence to confirm your competence • Conversations with your assessor about your experience, skills, knowledge can be recorded and used as evidence.
