LEADERSHIP SOUTHERN INDIANA THE ROAD AHEAD!
Where We’ve Been… • Many past attempts by various LSI Boards to make changes in the LSI program but those efforts never quite took hold • Fall, 2005 – Committee formed to review LSI Programs • 2006 to 2008 – No significant movement forward although talk of change was still being discussed between groups and individuals coming from and to the Board • Spring, 2008 – Board approved survey, over 120+ alumni respond to online survey point to more activity and involvement with LSI and the community
Where We’ve Been… • Spring, 2009 – Study Committee made up of members of then current Board of Directors created a framework of a new LSI that was approved • Fall, 20009 – Steering Committee consisting of old and recent grads of LSI along with several current Board members met for 3+ months to create the outline for new LSI we are launching in 2010 • January, 2010 – LSI Board approves Steering Committee recommendation and then breaks process into committees to help implement the plan into action

LSI CAPITAL CAMPAIGN GRAND ANNOUNCEMENT • A MATCHING GRANT UP TO $320,000 OFFERED BY OGLE FOUNDATION OVER THE NEXT FOUR YEARS OR $80,000/YEAR • GRANT COVERS “STARTUP” COSTS OF THE NEW LSI ORGANIZATION • MUST HAVE MATCHING DOLLARS FROM ALUMNI AND COMMUNITY TO COLLECT GRANT DOLLARS FOR THAT YEAR
