  1. How To Get Ready For Your Pre-Wedding Shoot? A pre-wedding photo session is an outstanding way for couples to showcase their love and bond. It is an opportunity to get an insight into their ‘perfect’ love story and how their different personalities match-up to be one. Some people stick to classic and others prefer out-of-the-box and unique for poses. A pre-wedding shoot is in trend and preferred by many couples these days. However, most of them wonder what they should wear for a memorable photoshoot?

  2. If you are in the same situation, then read on because we have the right answer for you! Let us get started! 1.Go for something timeless Rather than going for trendy clothes, you can go for something you are comfortable in or something that can stay etched in your memories. You can wear your mother’s or grandmother’s saree as you can never go wrong with it. If you feel that you cannot manage to wear a saree, then what about a simple salwar-suit or Kurti with a skirt or jeans! To put it simply, you must wear something you feel comfortable and look good in or have received compliments for.

  3. 2.Color-coordinate with your partner Be careful though because there is a fine line between matching and coordinating. You surely do not want to match the dresses with your partner. So choose a palette of basic colors which could be a neutral one having bright colors. For instance, you can wear a dupatta of blue color while your partner can use the same color for his shirt or tie.

  4. 3.Play with different patterns Your pre-wedding photographer particularly recommends playing with different patterns and textures in the clothing chosen for the photoshoot. For instance, if you are a bride-to-be, then you could go for a patterned dress while your partner can choose to wear a clean plain and simple shirt along with trousers or jeans.

  5. 4.Choose the right accessories Hats, scarves, shoes, belts, and flowers – just go ahead and think something different! All these props can add the WOW factor to your pre-wedding pictures. However, do not over-accessorize as they can take the attention away from you and your partner. You can ask your photographer about the type of accessories you should carry to stand out in the photographs.

  6. 5.Select your pre-wedding photoshoot location wisely Your location plays a pivotal role in highlighting the dresses and colors you are using for the shoot. The location you choose must ideally enlighten your love story and something where you can use accessories and props to tell your beautiful tale. For example, you can use an umbrella while riding on the boat. The options are endless for you. All you need to do is – choose the BEST one.

  7. 6.Spend adequate time on your makeup and hair Your pre-wedding pictures are something that you will cherish forever. So, you must spend some time on your makeup and hair to look good in the pictures. If required, then hire a professional for the same. Even if you do not have time for salon, you can use some Do-It-Yourself (DIY) tricks to look stylish and beautiful.

  8. Conclusion A wedding is the beginning of a new life for both the bride and the groom. When the day is so special, you must plan everything well in advance. A pre-wedding shoot is an opportunity for you to spend some quality time with your loving partner. So, start preparing for the shoot and look your best on the day of the pre-wedding photoshoot.
