  2. HW 6 • Create a two column FIXED WIDTH design using CSS. Apply the inner div concept. Your page should consist of a header, nav, main content and footer. Style the inner divs with borders, padding and margin. Insert appropriate html in each section such as headers, anchors, paragraphs and images. Run your code through a HTML and CSS validator and post.

  3. HW6 • One of your columns should be a navigation column using an unordered list • Style the list so that when links are hovered they makes an obvious change. • Style the links so that the different states are obvious. • Use appropriate margins and padding

  4. HW 6 • Create a banner (header) and absolutely position a small graphic in it. Choose any graphic that you want. The banner div should be set to relative while your image should be set to absolute. • Use FAUX column technique top add color or texture to columns

  5. HW6 • In your main content float a small image(s) with a caption. • Apply the appropriate borders, margins and padding to make a nice appearance • Choose matching typography for your image and intended mood • In your header float your logo – your logo can be text or a graphic but should take on the appearance of a logo.

  6. HW6 • Use real text and not lorem ipsum • Random examples will be shown in class next week • These samples will be used for discussion items to help learn and improve • As always, color choice, typography, balance, and overall design is part of the grade.
