SWIMMING SEGMENT Caution all those athletes who have suffered or have problems at the level: • Of the cervical spine (by the movement that is realized when turning the head to be able to breathe) • At shoulder level, such as rotator cuff tendinitis or old shoulder dislocations
At thecolumnlevel: • Cervical: Pain produced by the position of the cervical spine during the competition. • Lumbar: Overload due to incorrect handlebar position.
Superior member: • Pain in inflammation in the tensors of the fingers.
Lowermember: • Pains in the perineal area. • Tendonitis of the patellar tendon. • Tendonitis of the Achilles tendon. • Goose leg tendonitis.
At kneelevel: • Tendonitis of thepatellartendon. • Iliotibial band syndrome. • Bursitis. • Poplitealmuscletendonitis.
In theanklejoint: • Tibial periostitis. • Stress fractures.
