  9. God forgave my sin in Jesus’ name,I’ve been born again in Jesus’ name; And in Jesus’ name I come to youTo share His love as He told me to.He said: ‘Freely, freely, you have received,Freely, freely give;Go in My name, and because you believeOthers will know that I live.’Others will know that I live.’

  10. All power is given in Jesus’ name,In earth and heaven in Jesus’ name; And in Jesus’ name I come to youTo share His power as He told me to. He said: ‘Freely, freely, you have received,Freely, freely give;Go in My name, and because you believe

  11. Scripture Lesson • Galatians 5:1-15

  12. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

  13. 2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all. 3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is obligated to obey the whole law. 4 You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace. 5 For through the Spirit we eagerly await by faith the righteousness for which we hope. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

  14. 7 You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? 8 That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you. 9 “A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough.”

  15. 10 I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view. The one who is throwing you into confusion, whoever that may be, will have to pay the penalty. 11 Brothers and sisters, if I am still preaching circumcision, why am I still being persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished. 12 As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!

  16. 13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

  17. The Apostles’ Creed

  18. I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:

  19. Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary,suffered under Pontius Pilate,was crucified, dead, and buried;

  20. The third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

  21. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church;the communion of saints;the forgiveness of sins;the resurrection of the body;and the life everlasting. Amen.

  28. “Are You Washed in the Blood?” • No. 328 FH

  29. Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Are you washed in the blood,In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb? Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

  30. 2. Are you walking daily by the Savior’s side? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?Do you rest each moment in the Crucified? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Are you washed in the blood,In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb? Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

  31. 3. When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb? Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright,And be washed in the blood of the Lamb? Are you washed in the blood,In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb? Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

  32. 4. Lay aside the garments that are stained with sin,And be washed in the blood of the Lamb; There’s a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,O be washed in the blood of the Lamb! Are you washed in the blood,In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb? Are your garments spotless? Are they white as snow? Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

  33. “What is Freedom” • Dr. Lawrence E. Wilson

  34. “And Can it Be?” • No. 363 UMH • verses 1, 2, 4, & 5

  35. And can it be that I should gainAn interest in the Savior’s blood?Died He for me, who caused His pain—For me, who Him to death pursued? Amazing love! How can it be,That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?Amazing love! How can it be,That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

  36. 2 ’Tis mystery all: th’Immortal dies:Who can explore His strange design? In vain the firstborn seraph triesTo sound the depths of love divine. ’Tis mercy all! Let earth adore,Let angel minds inquire no more.’Tis mercy all! Let earth adore;Let angel minds inquire no more.

  37. 4 Long my imprisoned spirit lay,Fast bound in sin and nature’s night;Thine eye diffused a quickening ray—I woke, the dungeon flamed with light; My chains fell off, my heart was free,I rose, went forth, and followed Thee.My chains fell off, my heart was free,I rose, went forth, and followed Thee.

  38. 5 No condemnation now I dread;Jesus, and all in Him, is mine;Alive in Him, my living Head,And clothed in righteousness divine, Bold I approach th’eternal throne,And claim the crown, through Christ my own.Bold I approach th’eternal throne,And claim the crown, through Christ my own.
