Framed Math Artwork • Choose your favorite math quote • Write it on an index card (side without lines) ~ this is your Math Artwork. • The index card measures x by y inches. • The frame for the artwork measures x + 2 inches by y + 1 inches • Frame your art work by carefully cutting out a hole in the frame into which you can mount your artwork. Do not overlap the artwork and the frame. • On the lined side of the index card, determine the perimeter of the artwork and the frame. Also, determine the area of the artwork and the frame. Write neatly. • Suggested uses: hang in your room, gift to mother
