Harmonising policies or better information For PRMs using mobility or respiratory equipment or required to travel with an assistant during flights, do you think that air carriers should harmonise their policies or provide better information on these issues?
Pre-notification at least 48 hours • Do you think the pre-notification at least 48 hours encouraged by regulation 1107 should be made compulsory, in order to provide better assistance to PRMs?
Main conclusions • A majority of national authorities (40%) were in favour of harmonising policies or providing better information for PRMs, although 44% did not express an opinion on this issue. Again, a majority (40%) support compulsory 48 hrs pre-notification for PRM (44% without opinion). • The industry group was divided on the question of harmonising policies or providing better information for PRMs (40% in favour, 54% against). It was generally in favour of compulsory 48 hrs pre-notification (60%).
Main conclusions, cont. • Consumer groups were highly in favour of harmonising policies or providing better information for PRMs (72%) and generally in favour of making a 48 hour pre-notification compulsory (59%). • Airports were strongly in favour of harmonising policies or providing better information for PRMs (79%) and generally in favour of making a pre-notification of at least 48 hours compulsory (64%).
