  2. Mission Statement Through our distinctive arts program, children discover a passion for learning ,achieve academic excellence and are empowered by self-confidence, which strengths all other aspects of their lives. K-5 grade students and neighborhood school

  3. Duties • Problem Solving Model using the state, local, and school norms to monitor progress students. They are based on instructional strategies that are research based. • Student Observations • On task – Off task Observations • Testing students on spelling, math, reading, and written expression • Progress monitoring students with academic trouble

  4. Recommendations • I would absolutely recommend this site. Mrs. Ballard is amazing to work with. The whole staff at Snipes are very welcoming and helpful. You will also work with a resource teacher Mrs. Lewis and the school interventionist Mrs. Coller. They all work together to improve academic and behavior issues with the children

  5. What you need to do • Sign confidentiality paper stating that you will not talk about what goes on in your practicum setting. • Fill out the Health From located on the UNCW Practicum site • Need a up to date physical and be tested for TB
