  4. Step Two: Students take turns at engaging with this interactive learning object on the IWB.The Learning Federation- The place that's right for me

  5. Step Three: Complete the printable worksheet out the animals the BUSH ANIMALS onto the picture. (Digital Task Card One-Worksheet)

  6. Teacher Notes Question and Explain • Divide into small groups(4 or 5 students) and swap completed worksheet with someone in the group. • Look at the worksheet and see if there are any animals in the bush picture that you would not put there. If there are, put a circle around the animal with a coloured pen, then write your initials next to the circle. • Swap that worksheet with a different person and do the same thing. Keep going until everyone in the group have seen all of the worksheets.

  7. Question and Explain 4. Return worksheets to the owners and regroup as a whole class. 5. Each worksheet is examined for circled animals. If an animal has been circled, the person who has circled the picture is able to ask questions about why the animal has been put into the bush and the owner of the worksheet then explains the reasoning behind their decisionto put that animal in that habitat. Further Investigation (Elaborate) • Students then use books, internet etc.. to further investigate if the circled animals do or do not belong in a bush habitat and why.
