  2. Tradition with success Since 1903. till today, Mlinar has outgrown into a market leader in a bread –making industry.

  3. Whole production is distributed in threelarge production centers in Zagreb, Osijek and Poreč. With more than 1700 employees, high quality products, and their presence in the largest hotel and the largest retail chains in Croatia and shopping malls, we can proudly claim to be the biggest and the most sophisticated bread – making industry.

  4. In 2009. Mlinar started a new development strategy of it′s own specialized retail stores, trying to be even more available to each consumer and setting up high quality standards. That resulted in opening more than 170 specialized retail stores in eastern and north – western part of Croatia and in Istria together with Slovenia and Hungary. But we want to progress even more and extend our offer to the markets where we are not currently present. Our plan is to have more than 300 retail stores in the next two years.

Retail stores are equipped with modern and contemporary equipment and besides an excellent service they offer wide range of bakery products, such as bread, rolls, sweet and salt products from puffed pastry, pizza and sandwiches made directly at the place of sale. Other than that, we wanted to give to our customers something more than just bakery products – that is why we expanded our offer with products like fresh made orange juice, creppes suzettes, cakes and coffee to go.

  6. None of that would be possible without our vehicle fleet, that consists of more than 80 vehicles, of which 60 of them are delivery vehicles which deliver fresh products to each retail store. 53 of those vehicles are new Mercedes-Benz Sprinters and trucks.

  7. Only in 2010. wehave invested more than 6 million€ in the renovation and modernisation of the Mlinar bakeries.In the 2011. we have started a new business venture- 40 million € worth investment in building a completely new breadfactory.

  8. The main production is organised on the location in Zagreb, spreading over more than 20000 m2 and this is the most contemporary baking facility in this part of Europe. Besides satisfying market needs for every day fresh products, this facility with it’s new technology can produce enough quantity of frozen bakery products to meet the needs of the market in this region.

  9. Our primary vision is to produce and sell products of the highest quality, to develop Mlinar brand throughout the customer affiance and satisfaction values, keep up with the latest trends in the baking industry and continuously improve technological processes and product innovations.
