  5. Why Shadow? • UW Medical School “recommends” 40 hours of shadowing. • Gain experience in the field of medicine you are interested in.

  6. Interesting Question • “If you have limited time for medically-related volunteering and shadowing, which would you prioritize? Should you get in your physician shadowing or clinical volunteering first?You will find out much more about what it means to be a physician by shadowing, so that should be your first priority.”
