Rockville Pike Route: • The Rockville Pike plan is being processed as an amendment to the City’s Comprehensive Master Plan (CMP) via Article 66B. • Assuming a BRT route is included in the plan adopted by the Mayor and Council, it would become part of the City’s CMP. www.rockvillemd.gov

  7. How Do We Get There? Non-Pike Routes: • What level of commitment is desired? Timing? • What level of “adoption” does the County seek? • 4 neighborhood plans & the Comprehensive Master Plan (CMP) are along the BRT routes • There are various options or steps ………. • Resolution of support for concept and routes? (months) • Adopt a cooperative agreement with state/county/city outlining next steps of collaboration?(1 yr.) • Adopt routes into current CMP via 66B process?(6-12 mos.) • Adopt into new Transportation Element being scoped now?
