  1. Tic Tac ToeExperiment Purpose: Can I make the other person win at Tic TacToe? Research: How do you usually play Tic TacToe?

  2. Materials: Pencil and Paper Hypothesis: I think it is/is not possible to make the other person win at Tic TacToe.

  3. Experiment: Create gameboard (follow teacher directions) Identify strategy (record on lab sheet) Play (20 trials, rotation directed by teacher)

  4. Analysis: Did you learn a strategy for making the other person win?

  5. Using class data, create graph of results for wins, losses, and ties.

  6. Conclusion: My hypothesis was/was not correct. Elaborate.
